I’ve written a creative daily gratitude practice for over almost nine years. It’s a foundational piece of my recovery + helps me gain perspective, as well as helps me with my perception of my life, too. It’s a non-negotiable for me. Some of these lists will be part of my upcoming visual memoir I’m working on this year.

I started keeping a logbook on July 1, 2018, a month or so after my first panic attack during a flight home from Phoenix, which warranted an emergency landing in San Francisco - all for little ‘ole me!. At the time, I was hard-core investigating myself, taking notes, observing my daily doings and documenting my progress, and, lastly, creating new rituals and routines to support my well being. I took note of everything. It is a grounding practice for me. I’ve kept one ever since. These notebooks are my proof of life.
I’m about to dump a bunch of this IG stuff + reorganize my IG highlight reels, so I thought I’d share them with you before they are gone forever.
